IPSWICH have snapped up Polish rider Krystian Pieszczek (pictured), who becomes the Witches' fifth signing ahead of their return to the top flight this year.
The 23-year-old moves to Foxhall from Leicester to join Danny King, Jake Allen, Cameron Heeps and Richard Lawson. "I was recommended through my last British club Leicester," said Pieszczek. "My manager Thomas Gaszynski, who was Tomasz Gollob's manager for 25 years, and Chris Louis, who Thomas has known for many years, contacted each other. I've decided to race in England again this year because it's an extreme learning curve for me. "I know that Tomasz Gollob rode here with Chris Louis and Tony Rickardsson and I am looking forward to riding in the Premiership with the club. "I haven't been to Foxhall before, but I enjoyed the British league very much when I was with Leicester. I always give it my all whenever I'm racing, and I wouldn't be surprised if people back in Poland will be keeping an eye on me. "The fans will definitely see me giving it my all and hopefully putting as many points as possible on the board for Ipswich."
