LEICESTER will be racing home meetings on Saturday nights again in 2019 after confirming their decision to drop down into the Championship.
The Lions have spent the last five seasons in the top division but new boss Stewart Dickson (pictured) explained: "We have made this decision to protect the long-term interests of the sport in Leicester."¨ "We believe regular Saturday night meetings will help increase crowd levels and this wouldn't have been possible had we stayed in the Premiership."¨ "It's a case of one step back to take a couple of steps forward again."¨We already have a firm idea of what riders we want in our team and we think our fans will be delighted with what we have in the pipeline."
